Account right upgrade

I have upgraded to accountrigh tv19. I was previously using v16.

Even tho I have deleted V16 I cannot get my company file to open directly in V19.

I try to change the open with programme but it wont change to open with V19. This is on my PC at home which is stil running windows 7.

 

On my laptop which is running windows 10 I was able to easily change my company file to open with V19.

 

Do I need to upgrade to Windows 10 on my PC to  get my company file to open in V19 or is there another way?

There was a small issue with my access and the administrator accidently deleted my user access. They then re-invited me to use the company file. But know i can not get account right to see the company file. I log in but can not see the file or access it. I have tried re-installing the software and changing my password. 

I need a solution so as to access this account.

HI,

 

I have been using MYOB Justinvoices for a while now and all was working fine. However, all of a sudden I cannot email quotes or invoices any more as I get an error messege and the software closes. I have attached a copy of the error im getting below.

 

I also need to update the email as this has changed too. Can you please give me instructions of how to do this? Thanks

Upgrading v19.13 to AR2016

Hi,

 

Trying to upgrade a v19.13 company file to AR2016. Using AR2016.2.1 and this refuses to upgrade the file and the File Verification stage - saying the file has been upgraded for use with a newer AccountRight Product. Is there a solution?

Import database and company file from Just Invoice to Account Right plus 2016

Hi There, I have recently purchased a new computer for my company and installed Accountright.

I would like to import my database and company file from Myob Just Invocies 1.2 to the new Account Right Plus2016.

I tried to to a backup from just invoice but the file format is not in zip and Acoount Right will not recognise it.

Moving AccountRight Plus 2011.1 to a new computer

I have been tasked with moving a customer's MYOB AccountRight Plus install to a new computer and the original discs are 2011.1 while the install on their current PC is 2012. I have registered for updates with their serial number but the software manager still says it "did not find any available updates for this product".

 

On top of this, it doesn't seem to have installed the AccountRight Server on the new system when I did the install from the original discs.

 

The new computer is Windows 10 Professional.

 

Any advice you could give would be appreciated!

Trouble Confirming Company file - errors

I recently upgraded to AccountRight Basics 2013.5. We have 2 company files - one for our main business and another one I don't use as much. A bit of background - our computer crashed and I lost all data a month ago but our accountant had opur MYOB files, so on our new computer I've recently upgraded to 2013.5 (with the help of this forum - thanks!) and I was able to restore the backup version of our main company file. I have just tried to do the same with company file number 2 and it asked me to upgrade company file and confirm it. I have just tried but it is contantly coming up with Error. What else do I have to do to restore that file and start using it again? TIA

MPOWERED SERVICES REMITTANCE EMAILS NOT SENDING AFTER RECENT UPGRADE

After downloading the recent AccountRight Plus upgrade MPowered Services remittance advices are not being sent.  MYOB system says they have been sent however they do not appear in Outlook Sent items and creditors have not received the emails.

Our business has three computers in the network using Accountright. The main computer was using MYOB v19.12 while the other two were still on v19.11. The reason the other two were left behind was due to difficulties in upgrading at the time.

The main computer upgraded to v19.13 with difficulties while the other two were not upgraded in the same week. We had IT come in and upgrade the second and third computers so they are now all on v19.13.

 

Problem. All the work done on v19.11 on the second and third computers during that period do not show on the main computer. We can still see the sales and banking figures when we open their 19.11 version. We need to shift all the missing data into their v19.13. How do we achieve this? We don't want to have to imput all the sales and other information again. We do believe the three computers are now talking to each other.

 

Since this problem we have had IT in who can't fix the problem.

 

My colleague now has pointed out that on the second computer his MYOB v19.13 file in C drive has the same figures as the main computer v19.12 in Z drive.

 

The other situation is the main computer v19.13 C drive has the same figures as the second computer v19.13 Z drive.

 

We are not computer wiz and don't understand how this has happened. We have also telephoned for help with no success.

What next?

Folks

 

We're consolidating departments and need to move data files from AccountRight  Premier 19.11 to AccountRight Enterprise 19.12. Should this be as straightforward as opening the Premier files in Enterpise and perhaps upgrading the date file? Or will more work be involved?

Supplier Payment Terms have been changed with V19.13 upgrade

I have found that since installing the update of Account Right Version 19.13 many of my supplier cards have defaulted pack to payment terms of 14 days when they have always been set to EOM + 30 days - wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

Very frustrating as now they are not showing as due on the correct day on my payable list.  It has happened to many of our cards and it can only be put down to the upgrade as that seems to be when the changes happened.  I am going through and changing the cards back but of course that doesn't change the invoices that are currently in the system.

I can't find any reference to this apparant 'glitch' from MYOB but have found from experience before things like this happen with upgrades and MYOB don't acknowledge them.

Showing results for Recently bought new laptop and reinstalled AccountRight Standard via from disk. Copied myob and box files. Cannot produce a  BAS on new laptop.  MYO and BOX files copied accros.  All BAS fied on statement and front and rear sheets are blank.  Transactions exist in MYO .  What to do pls....?

Hi,

 

I have just purchased a new laptop and have copied all MYOB files from my old laptop to the new one, but now can't open company files.

I tried to download again but as we didn't renew the support subscription recently I now can't access the download? Can you please provide a link?

PC freezes after a Windows 10 Update - Here's a Fix

Earlier today (19 Oct), after a break to collect my mail, I returned and found my plugged-in laptop "frozen" with a black screen, but the power still on and the hard-disk light flashing.

 

I guessed that Windows 10 must have started its huge "Anniversary edition" Update - as monthly Windows updates arrive near the middle of the month - and that the automatic restart had failed.

 

After 5 frustrating hours waiting for the update to finish  - and no help from calls to Microsoft Support - I called Acer Support in Taiwan, who provided this quick fix:

 

(1)  Power-down, if you can

(2)  Switch-off the power,at it's source and unplug the power cable from the computer

(3)  If it's a laptop, remove the battery (Acer models have an orange release slide, on their base)

(4) Press the "power-on" button and wait 30 seconds - this should clear any residual power, from the computer

(5) Check that all the computer's lights are off
      If so, the computer is fully "off".

      If not, run step 4 again, until it's "off"
(6) Reinstall the battery, reconnect the mains power cord and switch-on the power at its source

(7) Then press the power-on button, to restart  -  Windows should start as normal.

Session has expired

Hello, 

We are using AccountRight Plus AU 2016.2.2

Everyone in the office was getting a "session timeout due to inactivity" error in the middle of working this morning. After closing out a few times and logging back in we are now not even able to login and the following error appears:

 

"This session has expired. Your company file session has expired because of inactivity, or an AccountRight Live administrator is upgrading or restoring the file. Please sign on to your company file again."

 

Please help!!
