I have just installed AccountRIght 2016.2. The installation completed successfully.
WHen this was finished I was asked if I wished to install the API. I have always also been asked this question previously, even though I am not sure whether I need to or not. I understand what the API is used for, so on one occassion I answered 'yes' and tried to install the API. It seemed to work fine - until it got to the last step, and then said "an error has occured" and it rolled back the installation.
I have just tried this again after upgrading to 2016.2 and got the same result. ie "an error has occurred".
I have attached the API installation log file.
Please assist.
