I run AccountRight on 2 computers over a local network.
Last Friday I upgraded the remote machine to Windows 10. Ever since Ive been getting things back to normal.
Im now unable to open my company file from the remote (windows10) computer . It does still open on the host computer though which is still on Windows 8.1.
The message Im getting on the Windows 10 computer is "somethings gone wrong and AccountRight needs to close"
The error log says "System IO.IOException"
"Unable to open MaskedFilePath.config for writing because it is read only or hidden.
When I open AccountRight on the Windows 10 machine it can see the company file and lets me select it and enter my password to open, but that is when it fails.
Ive downloaded and run the MYOB fix program that was released recently, but that hasnt changed anything.
Ive attached the error log if that helps.
