Does anyone know whether this can actually be done?
I have an old Premier v7 data file. We bought Accountright 2015 retail with the intention to have a clean start and set up everything from new with existing balances. It turned out to be far too much work and we never got it done in our 3 month support period.
It has now been decided it would have been simpler to simply upgrade the Premier Version 7 data into our AccountRight (purchased) instead of having a new file. We have 2016.3 downloaded from our my.MYOB account and installed.
I've tried simply re-installing on a new PC to see whether it would upgrade the old file but it errors out. Thanks to the delays and our support running out without even getting to use the product in an active environment, I can't even simply ask the question to anyone.
Can it be done and even if it has to be done with MYOB, how do I obtain a quote to have this done if it is fee based? (I assume it is as unfortunately MYOB has become a lot more expensive to run since we first started with Premier v3).
Will anyone from MYOB answer this question?
