Import date errors when importing from one Accountright to another

We are transferring some data and forms from one instance of Accountright to another.

The forms imported very easily without error using the custom forms import function in the Setup menu.

However sales, items, suppliers and customers are proving much more troublesome. I do not understand why this should be when the systems are the same and logic would suggest that if data is in one instance of a system it should be compatible with another instance of the same system.

I am getting multiple errors but am dealing with one at a time. The most common is -10 date format error. The date format seems fine to me and I do not understand why it is being rejected.

Here is the import log summary:

0 records imported without errors.
0 records imported with warnings.
1313 records skipped.

Summary of errors
Error -10: Invalid date.
Error -11: Transactions dated before the beginning of your financial year may not be imported.
Error -28: Item is not sold.
Error 0: Unexpected import error - Item is not sold or base selling price is not set!

Here is a sample of the -10 error:

-10 Name and address Removed WINGER CHRYSLER JEEP 00203203 13/12/2016 091216-5 A TFG183 15.000000 WINGER CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE $5.0000 0% $75.00 Sale;  $11.25 $.00 S15 $.00 I 4 0 20 0 0 $86.25 Direct Credit Removed

Here is a sample of the -11 error:

-11 Name and address Removed NORTH HARBOUR MUSTANG 00202974 2/12/2016 301116-1 A 188 21.000000 NORTH HARBOUR MUSTANG $5.0000 0% $105.00 Invoice to go with Goods Sale;  $15.75 $.00 S15 $.00 I 4 0 20 0 0 $120.75 Direct Credit Removed

I can see no issue with the date format in the -10 item or with the date in -11 item. The company file year is 1/4/16 to 31/3/17.

I have tried to find a setting for a date format preference within Accountright but cannot see one. Can anyone shine any light on this issue?

Thanks!

Alistair
