Windows updated and now i can not open my files...

"the connection to the server was lost. pleasse check that the server is on and connected to the network"

The file is hosted on my local computer, not on a network.

 

I am running windows 7 Pro

Myob Accountright Basics 2013.5

 

I Really need to get into my files and have tried using the hotfix tool and the windows registry fixes linked in other help posts but it still isnt working.

Any help would be appreciated!
