I created a employee card for a contractor by mistake. I made a card for him in payroll. I can paid him some wages. Later on in the month, I was told the person should be paid as contractor and not employee. I then deleted the payroll journal thinking it would be easy then to delete the card as the one and only payrol journal made has been deleted. When I tried to delete card, error message saying that there are journal entries in this employees card. How can that be when I have already deleted the whole payroll transaction under "delete cheque" option and this was taken off from my payment summary. My only problem is that I cannot get him off as an employee. He was never an employee so to leave the card there will be innacurate MYOB records. So how can I remove this employee payroll card and change to contractor.
