We love Premier 19.13, we us every corner of it, being a medium sized company and all our jobs and invoices post over easily from a 3rd party cloud product, but are keen to go to cloud as all our other company files are cloud based also. I was all set to go, MYOB made it so easy, switch over in one day.
BUT, we do cross-currencies, not currently supported by Cloud apps. Many years ago, before I learned how to do cross-currencies properly in a smaller business, I used to take a short cut and just post the AUD with the correct tax code.
My question is would this be suitable practice for a medium sized company? We have paper copies for tax records.
What I would really like is to PAY a MYOB partner for a phone conference to discuss the ins and outs of conversion as our tax accountant is struggling. He suggested another cloud product, which was great, went on the course but more for small businesses, and once again no cross currencies, and lots of fandangles that would impress a small business owner but not us.
MYOB is extremely robust, proven for med companies, and I really appreciate all the extras built in a long time ago that I use, that many new cut-down products do not have. Seeing other account products sell extras that we have simply forgotten about in MYOB is always hilarious.
Alos, I really like the MYOB cloud hybrid to local download their R and D is really well thought out.
I really want to go to cloud but do not want to loose all the functionality I have in Premier. Please advise, and note I really want in-detail advice, not a freebie, as this is business critical. Many thanks.
