Hi all.
Sometimes installations don’t work as you would like, and it can be frustrating. However, there are some things you can do to ensure that you minimise the chances for errors. Some things to check and try before you start the installation.
- Does your computer meet the minimum system requirements? Computers that dont meet the system requirements can often have problems installing AccountRight.
- Have you installed all recent Windows updates for your Windows operating system, including updates to the Microsoft .net framework? As Windows updates often contain important updates and changes to Windows and the .net Framework that AccountRight uses during an installation it is helpful to have these up to date to avoid any potential installation errors arising from a missing update.
- If possible are you able to disable your antivirus software before installing. (don’t forget to turn your antivirus software back on once you’re finished). On occasion the antivirus software on a computer can interfere with the installation of a program.
- When you start the installation, it’s always a good idea to be logged into Windows as a Windows Administrator, or right click on the installer and select Run as Administrator.
