Purging transactions from prior years

Hi

Using version 19.  and have already rolled over to 2016 financial year via start new financial year.

When got to closed transactionsand other entries area.at that time we kept transaction back to 2011 year, in which can view but not alter of course

Wanting to know if a way can now close the transactions  ,prior to 2013 instead, without rolling over to next year 2017 which it states.
