Session constantly expiring - MAJOR PROBLEM

Our IT guys have liaised with MYOB trying different suggestions such as the anti-virus etc until the MYOB solution was to completely uninstall and reinstall MYOB from our server and computers. Nothing has changed.
 
The main noteworthy thing with the reinstalls was the MYOB API had a lot of issues uninstalling from my PC though it was successfully removed in the end and reinstalled (I just mention it cause it was the main problem with the reinstall so that might be a red flag for them, they should be able to test it).
 
A session expiry should ONLY expire when the computer is idle for a certain period of time, NOT when someone is actually entering data.  I have experienced losing payroll time after time when the session expired whilst entering data and having to start over 4 times and in the end saving the file after entering 10 people and repeating this 5 times to get it all processed.
 
Does anyone at MYOB know how to fix this as we are ready to jump ship to a program that actually works.
