A call for help here...
For ten years now I have been using Business Basics for Windows Release 6.3.0O
It is being used on a dinosaur of a computer running Windows 7 Home.
This computer is used to enter invoices and generate statements, entering expenses and generating reports to send to accountant for completion of BAS and EOY Tax.
The other half is out on site and uses Account Right on the laptop to generate Invoices.
I want to upgrade the office computer version of MYOB to Account Right and then run everything off into the cloud.
My concerns are:
Will this computer be able to run Account Right?
If so, am I able to simply upgrade to the new software without losing any company information?
How then do we link both computers to the same cloud account?
If this computer is upgraded to the new Windows 10 will Business Basics have a fit and not work? Do I upgrade to Account Right first?
Feeling very overwhealmed that I have left it so long (I'm not afraid of software etc as I have been using computers since day dot) but complacency set in and I stayed with what was comfortable. I now am tired of doubling up with work and know that linking everything up including bank accounts will be soooo much smarter.
I really appreciate any advice you could give to help me through this process.
